Plantation Shutter T-Post
What is a T-Post?
A T-post is a vertical support inside a shutter frame. A t-post allows a homeowner to customize the panel configuration of a plantation shutter in ways that are otherwise not possible.

For example, if you would like a shutter with four panels - two sets that both close into each other, you would need a T-Post to make this possible. There would be a T-Post in the middle of the shutter that provides the vertical support and a place to hinge the panels. See an example of this configuration - LRTLR - below.
T-Posts are often necessary on very large windows 104"+. At Coverly Shutters, we can manufacture most any configuration, even if it is not listed as an option on the product page. See an example of a six-panel shutter with two T-posts - LRTLRTLR.
