Limited Warranty

All shutter products made by Coverly are backed by a 3-year limited warranty, ensuring they are free of material defects and workmanship, provided that they are properly installed, used, and maintained. This warranty is exclusively for the original purchaser and becomes void upon any resale or transfer of the product and/or materials.

Warranty Conditions:

  • The products are covered when used under normal conditions and for the purposes intended. It does not cover damages resulting from exposure to extreme environmental conditions, misuse, improper installation, or accidents.
  • The natural variations in grain, texture, and color of wood are not considered defects. Composite wood (Polyclad) shutters may have variations in texture and color due to the material composition, which are also not considered defects.
  • No dealer, retailer, or representative of Coverly has the authority to modify this warranty in any form.

    Warranty Limitations:

    • Coverly’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product at Coverly’s discretion. In no event shall Coverly be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
    • The warranty does not cover any form of surface dirt or staining on either wood or composite wood shutters, due to exposure to air pollutants and atmospheric conditions.
    • Coverly reserves the right to discontinue or modify any of its products. In cases where a product is no longer available, Coverly will substitute a part or parts of equal quality.

      Exclusions:

      • Damages resulting from exposure to harmful chemicals, extreme weather conditions, misuse, accidents, or improper maintenance are not covered.
      • Any damage caused during the handling, transportation, or installation by any third party after the product’s manufacture is not covered.

        Maintenance and Care:

        For Wood Shutters:

        • Regular dusting and cleaning with a slightly moist cloth are recommended.
        • Avoid the use of cleaning solutions or abrasive liquids to maintain the natural quality of the wood.

        For Polyclad Composite Wood Shutters:

        • These shutters are low maintenance. Dusting or cleaning with a moist towel is sufficient.
        • For thorough cleaning, use soap and water or other nonabrasive household cleaners. Avoid abrasive liquids or acetone-based cleaning solutions.

        Warranty Service:

        For service under this warranty, please contact Coverly directly. Provide proof of purchase, the purchase date, and a detailed description of the problem. All warranty requests must be submitted in writing, and Coverly is not liable for shipping costs for product inspection, service, or repair.
