Collection: Woven Wood Shades

Woven wood shades in bamboo, reed, and jute

Woven wood shades are the warmest thing you can hang in a window. Natural bamboo, reed, jute, and grass are woven into a fabric that keeps the color variation and grain of the raw material, so no two shades look quite alike and the light coming through them is dappled rather than flat. They soften a room the way a rug does.

Because the weave is open by nature, a woven wood shade filters light beautifully but does not block it. That is what the liner is for. Add a light filtering liner for daytime privacy with a glow, or a blackout liner when the shade is going in a bedroom. Edge binding in a matching or contrasting color finishes the sides and keeps the weave tidy over time.
