Y'all... let me tell you about my shutter journey! After moving into our new home, those doors were letting in WAY too much light (and giving our neighbors a free show 😳). I was super nervous about measuring and installing ourselves, but their customer service team was AMAZING. Spent almost an hour on the phone with Mitchell going over every detail. He even caught a potential issue with our door handles that I hadn't considered! Ordered samples first and was impressed with the quality. Took about 3 weeks to arrive, which was faster than expected. Installation day came, and my husband and I set aside the whole weekend... but only needed Saturday morning! The instructions were clear and ti came mostly put together. Our bedroom is so much darker now when we want it to be, and the temperature difference is incredible. First shutter on a door with a handle mildly challenging, the remaining three got easier. There was no installation instructions in my order. The included hardware consisted of 3 inch #8 screws which far too long for the Pella French doors. Was able to source 2.25 inch #8 screws to accomplish the install.

My shutters took over a month to arrive. When they did, hardware was missing. After waiting another two weeks to get the hardware, and while attempting to install them, I realized that you guys cut them too short. Please understand that I submitted a drawing with all the specifications and it was still cut wrong. You guys never made it right.
I've been converting most of my windows in my house to have plantation shutters. I should have done this years ago. I love these shutters, especially the ones that are on my French doors. They add such a nice architectural feeling to my home.
Second time ordering shutters with Coverly.. first time, everything was perfect….this order had issues. The hinges on the frame did not align correctly with the hinges on the shutters. I managed to realign/ move the hinges so they would work. All good now…
I was so pleased to finally upgrade my French doors with the plantation shutters. The cut-out for the door hardware works perfectly and now I can see my pretty door handles no longer hidden behind an old roller shade. These shutters truly dress-up any room.

Our French doors face west and the afternoon sun was brutal. These shutters solved that problem beautifully! The split tilt feature lets us control the light perfectly, and the room stays so much cooler now. Installation took about 4 hours (we're pretty meticulous), but the instructions were clear.
